Anyone else's interest piqued from 5 min mark to 5 min 45 seconds?

Any thoughts on who might be some of the 22 who played that may not playing/not in team at end of year?

Any thoughts on why he said this? Perhaps it was just a veiled warning/broadside and acknowledgement that list turnovers mean player changes will happen anyway?

I instantly thought of Tom Williams and Koby Stevens, even though the latter tries hard he has habit of fumbling ball sometimes and also the former as one who is on shaky ground, albeit I thought his round 7 game was not so bad and at least (as one other poster noted) he at least tried to present as a target further up the ground.

I don't know why Kobe "Hot Potato" Stevens comes instantly to your thoughts. He is one of the quickest and most innovative handballers I have ever seen.

I know the term 'hospital handball' generally refers to the handball getting airtime, but in the modern context, he is the modern quintessential hospital handballer. I know i'd hate it as a player and team mate... I run my guts out, get near the contest and then crap myself when I see Koby given the ball as he then picks me to receive which means as sun follows night, i'm the one getting pile driven into the ground. I wouldn't go anywhere near him.

There was nothing in that from Macca, just saying that we're looking to find the right combination/balance and that this will naturally mean players get rotated in and out of the side.

Josie, I thought exactly the same thing when I heard the press conference.
Macca is always measured and exacting in what he says and how he says it. I think it is a clear indication that there were guys playing on Saturday night that are not part of Macca's plans next year.
He even stopped himself towards the end of that response in the press conference and intimated that he had probably said too much.
