Pretty comical. Just needed some Benny Hill music playing as the ball came into Stringer.

There's something poetic about Gia missing multiple chances to ice his own final game and then we lose.

Poor result today. Will try to come up with something more constructive once home, but just really disappointing. We had our chances.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

After that, I'm hoarse and goddamn flat. A sad way to end the weekend.

Thank god for the VFL result.
Wake me up when we get to heaven, let me sleep if we're going to hell

Good luck, for your sake I hope heaven and hell are really there, but I wouldn't hold my breath

And we all found heaven - 2016 Premiers!

We would have stolen the game if he marked that. Terrible all day, didn't deserve to win. Gia included, spoonfed all game and wasted chance after chance
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

Bugg, although not a lot in it.

I'm hoping the TV coverage missed Jake's multiple punches to the head to a prostrate GWS player early in the fracas otherwise we will be without the boy for our opening rounds next season. He certainly knows how to land one (or three).

He talked today at the players sponsors.
                    - Starts a new job tomorrow in player management. Also will be doing some mortgage broking.
                    - Wanted to finish last season but said when they club told him he was wanted it was hard to say no.
                    - Wont miss mad Monday. He said if you have been to one they are all the same. Gia will cop it.
                    - Talked about his injuries.
                    - Wont be returning to Brisbane except for holidays. Really wants to experience Melbourne now he isn't playing football
                    - Said it will be good to go to games next year and have a beer.
                    - Has enjoyed doing some coaching at Footscray.

Our passion probably deludes us into forgetting that it's a profession for these guys. In Gia's farewell message to team mates that that was published on the club site it struck me when he said 'coming into work', realistically that's what it is.

                        One other thing about Williams

Said he saw Rohan Smith breakdown in front of the playing group when he retired and he thought I'm not a crier so that won't happen to me but he was wrong.

The only good thing about that game was that it should leave them with no illusions as to how hard they have to work over the preseason.

I cannot believe how bad our set shots are... Koby not making the distance at the end. Appalling.

Touched off the boot, not sure what's worse

Was it? I was so agitated I didn't even notice. Although I did wonder why Mummy played on he marked it.

Couldn't hear the commentary either as my 9yo kept complaining loudly about how average we are and how he's supporting the hawks next year. Wasn't a happy day (and he won't be happy either when Santa doesn't visit him at year end).

Yeh and if they interviewed me and asked if I missed Tom Williams out there, I would have given the same answer.
