I was wrong and I am glad!

I said the Giants would NEVER trade Boyd. I was wrong. They caved.

I am glad I was wrong. Kudos to everyone involved.

I really didn't think we'd get him and said so yesterday and today.

        In reality they shouldn't have.

Great for us kudos to having a List Manager, makes a huge difference to a club.

I posted yesterday that they would, but I was probably hoping more than being sure it would happen

JMac and Simon seem to be working v.well together

The nuance, I think, MJP is that prior to today we had not put pick 6 on the table with Griffen. On the straight swap proposal, which I think is what was on the table up to today, you were in fact correct.

No. I meant that they wouldn't trade him full stop - regardless of the offer. And they shouldn't have. A mistake that they will regret for 10years. You just don't get key forwards like this unless you finish last...they are not set up to finish last for a long time...better hope Patton comes back strong.

Imagine if we finish in the bottom few next year and end up with two of them!
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

I was wrong, too. After the Giants CEO came out and categorically said he wouldn't be traded.

Now, we both look like gooses but I'm a happy goose.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.
