Re: Welcome to the WBFC - Bailey Dale

20 goals over 6 games if expanded to a whole season is 73 goals.

While I don't expect that form line to hold it is an indication of just how heavily he's contributed on the scoreboard these last few weeks.

      That could be an explanation.

Clearly Chris Judd is not interested enough to take notice or do any actual research.

He's got some work to do on the defensive side of his game but his form at Footscray gave him the best chance to come in and perform near his best and he's looked so impressive.

He is a very good overhead mark and is quick on the lead. Found his best position now.

Re: Welcome to the WBFC - Bailey Dale

Because of his height and all round ability I also see him as the attacking wing who can float in and take that pack mark up forward and kick goals also.
At the moment he is forward pocket or flank and leading, which is causing havoc with the opposition backs Concentrating on Schache and Naughton.
If you can get them leading 3 different ways you have stretched the backs so they can’t help each other.
            I like it a lot.

KNOCK OFFS: New role that ignited Bailey Dale, his praise for Bevo

              Interview with Matthew Richardson.

Was not a bad interview fairly wide ranging in topics. Goes for about 13 odd minutes.

Bevo's presser tonight on Dale, on of the best games a half backs you could see play.
His goal in the second quarter was impressive , as he somehow managed to pickup in full flight, evade two Carlton players and goal.
He did some telling spoils in the last quarter.

Was Alex Cincotta man Dale? It's been well reported that Cincotta rolls into the mid field after the bounce and Dale is someone you don't want roaming free.

I haven't watched the replay yet but I seem to recall Cincotta trying to curb Bont at different times in the first half and then straight back onto Dale in the 2nd half.

I think Voss was forced to change a tactic because Dale was having so much influence. Voss has had some success rolling Cincotta up to tag a opposition mid.

Yes. That is how I saw it too. Dale had 21 touches in the first half. They could not allow that to continue.

One of our most important players been a massive influence on our turn around in from from the early part of the season.

You can tell when Dale is on early he just does everything quick and is looking for the inside pass or to run and gun. Well done to Bevo and the coaches to getting him back to AA form.

Has become an absolute star. One of my favourite things in footy is watching him kicking it from 50.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.
