The obvious under priced are always the new draftees. You just need to identify the right players, and probably you will get that from pre-season form.

What I don't understand is how the rookies are priced above all those taken in the draft.

Lin Jong is a good price.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I'd like to cash out my Goodes cops at $245,000 please.

Not sure anyone is taking that liability on a rookie.

Re: 2015 WB Supercoach Positions & Prices

Position wise, Brett Goodes is probably more backup mid than defender now. Biggs & Pearce are defenders not mids. Roughead & T Boyd could easily be given ruck dual position. Hrovat & Honeychurch are probably more mid than fwd, or at least dual position. Hunter could be mid as well. Daniel is a mid and Webb was drafted as a defender.

To give everyone just one position:

          Defenders: 15 - Goodes + Biggs, Pearce, Webb = 17
          Midfielders: 13 - R Smith, Biggs, Pearce + Goodes, Hrovat, Honeychurch, Daniel = 14
          Rucks: 3 = 3
Forwards: 18 - Bonts, Campbell, Stevens, Cordy, Webb, Hrovat, Honeychurch, Daniel = 10

          17 / 14 / 3 / 10 gives a very different view of the list to 15 / 13 / 3 / 18

How is Roarke Smith more than the ND picked players? It's not like he's a mature age rookie or even a year older.

Re: 2015 WB Supercoach Positions & Prices

The VirtualSports formats (SC and Real DT) for some reason increase the prices of players taken in the first round of drafts, both National and Rookie, rather than just the first round of the National Draft. In the national draft, the SC prices go from $222,300 for McCartin to $117,300 with the last player to attract a premium being Goddard at pick 21 (the final pick in Rd 1). So then there's the same thing applied to the rookie draft (which I disagree with), where Sinclair at pick #1 is $129,400 and the price then falls for each pick until you get to the cheapest rookie price which is $102,400. It doesn't matter if they're 18 or a mature aged player, their price when first drafted is dependent only on their pick number.

Obviously this pricing doesn't affect Goodes, Pearce and Kelly since they were already in the AFL system.

I'm inclined to agree. Will be in the mix to play Round 1.

Should we attempt to design a team by committee?

I've never played DT or SC, can we have a team consisting mainly of bulldog players?

I'm not picking anyone from us (pre-season pending)

It would all be based on potential, which is awesome in RL AFL (see Grant, J) but fools' gold in SC.
