    TAKE! MY! MONEY!!

Seriously, I don't really go in for footballers' books, but my few exceptions will have to include this title.

          Whitten Oval, most Thursday mornings.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Who is the publisher, or is it a club thing?

Won't be any this year according to a report I read. Apparently Murph is giving up his tv spot and his Age articles to concentrate on the captaincy this year.

Its a shame but I love and admire his devotion to the club and captaincy.

Agree. His appearances and writings were always positive publicity for the Club too.

Almost completely off topic but if anybody happened to watch Selling Houses Australia last week on Foxtel (Lifestyle Channel) Bob's sister Bridget featured. The episode was about a family with 5 kids living in a tiny house in Kongwak (near Inverloch in South Gippsland). There was no mention of her famous brother in the show but I know the family as they are originally from my home town. I did spot some Bulldogs scarves in the house at one stage.

Pity there is no uncle/nephew rule - Bridget and her husband Ben have 4 young boys and Ben himself is a handy country footballer. Great bloodlines!

I did watch that one and didn't know about the connection. Thankyou for the update. They looked like a nice family and very happy with all those kids.

Bob is as good a clubman as we have had in my time.
Will go down as one of the most devoted Bulldogs ever.

From the strange joy of a wet Melbourne winter to the challenge of playing on the sublime Stevie J, Murphy's Lore shines with the warmth, wisdom and charm of the Dogs' evergreen champion.

Murphy will be in store at the Bulldogs Shop at Victoria University Whitten Oval this Friday (13 March, 2015), between 2:00pm and 3:00pm, to launch the book to the Bulldogs faithful.
The Club captain will also be signing copies of the book for those in attendance.
