I guess. Probably also doesn’t help that the media is extremely pro-Geelong. Notice the silence on Bruhn right now but the endless articles about JUH?

Media rhetoric certainly has a not-insignificant impact on player values. Puts pressure on clubs to get deals done for whatever rate guys like Cleary or Barrett are claiming is “fair”. Hence why Geelong and Richmond constantly get good deals in trades while clubs like Dogs, Saints, Suns and Freo consistently get shafted.

Not sure they can comment too much on Bruhn legally right now.

It will be interesting to see how the media plays it once the details are allowed to be published, and it is found that it is a Geelong player facing the charges.

How hard do they go on Geelong's culture, given Stengle's nightclub situation, Paul Chapman allegedly assaulting a woman whilst hammered after the 2010 preliminary final and if it is a Geelong player facing rape charges? Then there's the players of yesteryear........

Not very I'd imagine, because there's a protection racket around the joint.
        TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

I'd love to know how and why the escape the same level of scrutiny other clubs do.
