I believe in clapping a side that tries, in the end its a game, yes we are passionate and it hurts but we love our players and the efforts they put in. The clapping was probably to help Johnno feel it wasnt his fault, remember he was hurting, you have to support him he is the red, white and blue.
You couldnt possibly think of supporters booing him could you after that?
Dissappointment of loss yes we are, but in times of doing it hard as Johnno did you have to help him out, i think the clapping was more of a support for him and lets face it we can be critical of mistakes but look at the big picture it was a great game.
Johnno presented all day, and tried his heart out, maybe one of our better players, just his finishing let him down, and remember 2 shots hit the post, millimetres away from winning it.
But alas in saying that he shouldnt be out there if injured, its definitely a leg problem and causing him to not follow through in his kicking.
Otherwise yes i agree with everything else you pointed out about killer instinct.

I have never and will never boo a bulldogs player i understand your feelings on this matter but (and i hate quoting T W ) i really felt like spewing up.We are much better than some of our efforts in the last quarter i am however no less proud of their effort so far this year

Bloody hell. Anyone who is happy after that loss should go talk to Johnno. He'll kick you in the teeth.

Its Tuesday night, and im still bloody peed off with that game, ive got no idea why im so angry about it since ive never been this angryafter a loss before, maybe its because it was Will's 50th.. nah, maybe because its cause we havent seen a loss this year... nah, or maybe, just maybe ive grown up and going to accept a loss like that anymore, when i know our guys are so much better than that, yes we shouldnt blame Johnno for that last missed shot, but hell he had 3 shots in the last qtr and missed them all, thats not good enough, Cam Wight stuffed up in the 3rd qtr, should have had a shot or at least put it in the goal square, but no he passed it off sideways and it went down to norths forward line, i cant rememebr if they kicked a goal or not.

They played bloody well as a team to lose that game, play as a team and WIN the game boys.

Aahhgg footys a funny game, last week was on such a high, this week im shattered about the loss.

I didn't know "Danny from Droop Street" on the Coodabeens... or Mark Alvey were an authorities on human behaviour.
Its still all rubbish, peception is not always reality and being happy is with an ok season doesn't mean you have accepted mediocrity.
