I wish Clay all the best. We don’t win the 2016 flag without him, most notably his 4 goal half against gws in the prelim. Competitive beast who always left it all on the field. You could never question his effort and I was so happy to see him win the flag after 3 knee recos. A testament to his perseverance.

Yep, I remember thinking then that winning and losing didn't really matter. The hearts of both players and supporters really weren't in the 2nd half of that game against the Saints. The result just wasn't important that day.

Yes, i felt the same when bob did his knee in 16 as well. Such a tight game of footy, I was on edge but then, all of a sudden the result didn’t matter.
