Yep and that's my point - the type of memberships sold (and the $$$ they generate) and far more important than the total numbers that the media love to talk about.
You need both - the direct dollars, and the weight of supporter numbers for sponsorships etc.
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.
