Premiership trio Shane Biggs, Clay Smith and Fletcher Roberts will be awarded life memberships at the Western Bulldogs’ 2020 AFL Season Launch next month.

All three were key members of the Bulldogs’ famous run to the 2016 flag.

Biggs and Smith have since retired from AFL football, with Roberts departing the Kennel at the end of the 2019 season.

The Bulldogs will host their launch at Crown Palladium on Wednesday 11 March.

Senior coach Luke Beveridge will give an inside look into the season ahead, alongside other club leaders and players, as the playing group receives their 2020 guernseys.

A three-course meal and premium beverages are included, with the night also to feature live entertainment, a silent auction and a raffle.

Tickets are $190 for members, $200 for non-members and $90 for children.

For a moment I was wondering why Tom Boyd wasn't included, but then realised he already received one at the best and fairest.

Looks like all the premiership players will receive a life membership after they leave the club, although what about Hamling?

Hamling probably has to retire first. Ditto Dahlhaus.

2026 reunion any stragglers probably get theirs.

Dahlhaus (and Roughead) are already life members. Stringer is the other one, not sure he will get one soon though.

Roberts hasn't retired as far as I am aware and I assume would take an opportunity on another clubs list should he get one.

That’s great. Every player from that premiership deserves a life membership IMO

just a shame those that left will only win one premiership, whilst the rest of the group will have more...

Yeah I know that, I posted it in the Exs thread. I meant he hasn't retired from the AFL as far as I am aware and could end up on another AFL list in the future.
