    Here comes Brian Lake

    Here comes Brian Lake

WESTERN Bulldog Brian Lake tied the knot with long-time love Shannon O'Malley yesterday, at a traditional church wedding in Adelaide.

O'Malley said the couple chose New Year's Eve so they could create a party atmosphere for guests.

"We never know what to do on New Year's Eve so we thought this way we're giving everyone a party," she said. "We wanted to have all our family and close friends there."

Brownlow medallist Adam Cooney (below, second from right) was best man, returning the favour for Lake, who was best man at Cooney's wedding to Haylea MacCann in October.

Fellow Doggies Dylan Addison, Ryan Hargrave and Mitch Hahn were among the guests, with former Dog Wayde Skipper, now a Hawk, also there to see the couple tie the knot in 41C heat.

"Obviously it's very hot, but we're very happy," Lake said yesterday.

    Congratulations to Brian & Shannon.

No excuses now if he ever forgets his wedding anniversary.

      With hearts fluttering like wings,
      They both exhanged rings.
      Married Brian and Shannon Lake.
I wish their lives be forever great.

There's another right near the head of the guy in the background.

It must be ringing and the light is shining through the pants material.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Yep, methinks it's a bubble too... although the idea of Briza having his mobile ringing in his pocket right after his wedding is a funny one..

Maybe that's how cool dudes look when they get married.

My thoughts exactly. He look hilarious, his wife looks incredibly happy, and then there's Bryza, just like 'Meh'.

                          Congrats, Bryza!
