North Melbourne premiership hero John Cassin has written to the club expressing his dismay at the club's niggling tactics on Saturday.
In an email to Kangaroos chief executive Eugene Arocca yesterday, Cassin described the attention paid to Bulldog Barry Hall as nothing short of "disgraceful and embarrassing".
"The coaching staff should be held responsible for allowing (Scott) Thompson and the other players involved to cowardly attack Hall in that fashion," Cassin wrote.
"He (Thompson) should have been dragged immediately. If the players put as much energy and attention into the game as they did against Hall we wouldn't get the thrashings that we appear to endure on a constant basis.
"I believe the club owes an apology to Barry Hall."
