Akermanis names illicit drug users

SACKED Western Bulldog Jason Akermanis is immersed in controversy again after he publicly named three current AFL players he claims have used illegal drugs.

In a luncheon speech to about 80 people in Mildura this month, the Brownlow medallist said he had not used illicit drugs in his time as a footballer but that he knew of other players who had.

During a break at the function, Akermanis named the players to the guests at his table. That night, at another event in Mildura, Akermanis named AFL players he said were gay.

haha haha haha I finally enjoyed reading a Caroline Wilson atricle. Although I feel sorry for any player that sour grapes has in his sights to try get some attention for himself. When will this bloke learn to shut his trap. Someone will eventually smack him one right in the hole where this crap leaks from. He'll say something about the wrong person one day.

Yep, he just keeps them coming. I guess it's all about keeping up the interest in his "tell all" upcoming book! Trying to ensure sales targets I think! So, like SS, I ask, do we know who he has named???

I thought he said a few weeks ago that the book wasn't written, was just a scribbled collection of notes.

Now its out in a month!

I'm going out on a limb here, I reckon the later, LIED, LIED, LIED.

Really disappoints me, because I used to always defend him and say his biggest problem was he spoke the truth. He has either changed or has never told the truth, because he has been caught out so many times since he was sacked.

Hang on -- Aker gets bagged for not telling the truth, but Caro is pulling shit from her mouth too. "Publicly", and "in a luncheon speech to 80 people?" How about he was just talking crap to his table with others who were also talking crap, as is his wont (and his right as a private citizen, last I recall). Sensationalise it, why don't you?

It's war at the bottom of the shitbarrel between ****wits of the highest order, and I don't know how Caro still has any credibility after, well, her whole career, but this is of the same standard or journalistic reporting as her 'Essendon crisis' piece a couple of months ago.

To be fair though a lot of it's hearsay on Caro's behalf that being said in his interview with Pricey he said that it was mentioned in his book which he shallowly plugged with the drugs topic.
