    Reality Bites the Dawgs

EXPECTATIONS are out the door for the Western Bulldogs, 3-6 and two games outside the eight. The preliminary finalist of the past three years is struggling to make the finals let alone contend for a premiership. The crisis only deepened last night with a 29-point loss to Hawthorn, the Bulldogs' fifth in six games since the bye.

With Geelong then StKilda, if we win those couple it will be back to 'Premiership Contenders'

If wishes were fishes we'd all have a rod.

(I hope I am made to eat those words).

We are not even in the top eight, I would call it a crisis.

              Crisis or reality check?

We have been overtaken by a lot more clubs than we expected to be.

1 year older, and a lot slower. I'm only shattered that this hit us 1 year earlier than I expected.
