I hope this is your response when you visit your GP.

I'm not sure what you expect Bell to say? I assume they are deliberately light on details when talking about injuries because it is essentially a players private medical information. If you think they should be providing a 10 minute diagnosis complete with scans, x-rays and the like I think you will be disappointed.

You don't think it's an amazingly convenient but if timing that when the club is looking for off season positives some airy fairy description of a miracle recovery comes in to play?

Why not just say specifically what the injury/remediation is? It's public knowledge he's had calf issues, we're not talking private medical data.

I'm not shooting the messenger. I appreciate you bringing the information to the table, even though you still haven't delivered a contract thread, I guess I'm just propaganda'd out with footy, life and everything else.

It was reported well prior to the end of the season when JJ was nearing a return in the VFL.

Well without an injury thread there's no way to verify that.

I can't believe how hard I had to work to pull this off

I’m happy with him going again. His best is absolutely good enough and still makes a difference to our run and gun when he’s at his peak. Sentiment has no part in it, but getting to 200 games would be a great outcome too.

Question: where does he sit in our all time rookie listed players?

I’m saying top 5 without too much thought. Despite the norm smith I’m not sure he quite cracks the top 3. Close though.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

Morris would be right up there.

JJ gives us a totally different look and feel when he's fit. Let's hope that's the case next season.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.
