    They should have just got 1 year contracts. But I suppose they don't cost much (surely the minimum payment under the AFL EBA) so they can be cut at any time without severe financial penalty.

      That is utter rubbish. How you can you show faith in the young players when you give them one year? Lucky you are not a list manager.
