Whilst it should be a very easy win this weekend - the selection of the AFL team will make the look of the VFL team interesting this week in particular.

If T.Boyd does get rested, and Redpath promoted, the forward line becomes very small with only Ayce or Campbell playing as a ruck/forward. I know Fort will obviously end up getting a game, but he doesn't tend to spend much time forward (if at all) generally.

Unless Austin is ready to come back - we will be short all over the ground really.

Should be another easy win against the winless Dolphins.

Footscray tends to beat up on the lower sides so I'd put my money on at least 70 points and up.

Hoping for another big performance from Toby McLean. The kid was magic on the weekend and can't be far off a seniors berth if he keeps his form.

What abou Daniels goal in the last quarter? I don't think I've seen a kid who can mark, land and take off like he does.

You mean Toby's? Yeh up against a couple of.bloke twice his size. He has beautiful hands in the mould of a Jamie Elliot type, think he is going to be an amazing forward pocket for us over the next decade. Can move around the ground as well, but prefer to keep him where he.is dangerous.

Forward line including Boyd, Crameri, Stringer, McLean, Dickson and Dale all with another 3 years under their belt is saliva stuff.

Would think as a mature aged recruit he has to be playing seniors

Yep Toby's. Something you can't do at Etihad that you can do at Whitten oval is instantly move to another place to get a betterr view. When Toby took the mark and took off he ran behind a pipe that was in my way. I had to say hang on and and had to take a couple of steps to one side to see the shot for goal.

I really want him to get a clear run at it and see whether he can produce anything near what's required to be a league footballer.

Who knows, with a good second half of the season he may find himself given a game and a chance to earn a lifeline as a rookie at season's end.
