Thanks for the reports, sounds like 3 or 4 players (or more) champing at the bit for senior action. Good news.

Dale with 26 and 4 goals. Beast mode!

Crameri needs to come in next week, in place of who is dependent on tonight's game.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Dale easily best on for mine. Really liked how Crameri worked his way into the game then went on to dominate it by game's end.

I didn't hold high hopes for today's result but it's very encouraging the way all of our players stood up.

With a bit of luck on the injury front we will have a number of players putting their hand up for senior selection against the Cats next week.

            Same here.

Really loved Bailey Dale's game. He has started his career in a very promising manner however today was especially impressive as performed well right throughout the game. He would have been in the bests for each of the four quarters. A very impressive achievement for a first year player.

I noticed that Ayce Cordy was very physical with his opponents sometimes., pushing them out of marking contests and ruck duels.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I thought this was Campbell's best game for a few weeks (no beard!). Not just his ruck work, but his work rate and marking around the ground. Ayce's marks up forward and goals in Q3 were important.

This was a good win over another VFL side around the same mark. After an ordinary first quarter, the team really lifted and worked hard to pressure Collingwood all over the ground. Returning players Jong and Z Cordy were solid contributors. One thing i noted was the performances of the VFL players (non AFL). There has been a solid group of them that have being playing for a few weeks now (i.e. Jamieson, Hayes, Prismal, Rusty, Coughlan, Sharp, Keras) and they are able to work in well with their AFL listed team mates.
Roarke Smith played another good game, but so did fellow rookies Kelly and Pearce. Of the three, I think Pearce's games over the last 4-5 weeks have been the standout - his work in the midfield and his attack on the ball are new parts of his game not evident previously. Biggs had a big first half when the Pies were still in the game and must be on the radar to return to the AFL side after an equally strong game the week before.

Bailey Dale is the new Gia - you just want the ball in his hands in the F50. Looked the classiest player on the field all day.

I meant to mention Pearce's game. He was really good. He ran hard to provide options and finished really nicely. He kicked the the goal that started the Avalanche after we'd mucked about with the ball for 20 minutes in the forward line not kicking goals.

Watched the game ( thanks to the pies website)
Bailey Dale was excellent , Jong was very good and the VfL boys played well.
The big American played well for Collingwood, and nice to see Tom C clunk a few
