    Why you should visit Bendigo.

    Because we've got a ripping double header.

    Friday 21 August, the Footscray boys have a Friday night match at the beautiful QEO Oval. Last years night match with Footscray in Bendigo was a cracking affair. Walking distance to great restaurants, pubs or wine bars. It's against Essendon so we should get to watch Cooney up close again.

    Then on 22 August, the Under 18's Bendigo Pioneers are taking on Northern Knights. Whose recently best player has been Bulldogs Father Son Darcy McPherson. Worth the watch I think.

    You can leave Melbourne at 5pm Friday and be back by 5pm Saturday. Our game is in WA that week on Sundat arvo. Just letting you all know.

      The Wine Bank is 5 minutes walk from the ground and is fantastic. Pricey but fantastic.

                              they said on the radio this morning that it was minus 2 in Bendigo this morning. I am so looking forward to that sort of weather.
                              They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

                                          I'd be suprised if Jarrad wasn't there giving BT a hand. There's gotta be something in it for him. Surely?

                                              I expect Jarrad and Zaine to be in Perth, but I have typed a sharply worded email to the club demanding them both play in Bendigo.
