Has Z. Cordy done enough to maybe get a nod for next week?

I wouldn't think so. I think Hamling has he is starting to get some confidence. ( for a tall spot)

Boyd has kicked 3.1 and presented well. The entire commentary the last quarter has been potting him. WTF???

Boyd could have had 6 goals easily. Just needs to lean to use his frame more. He doesn't need to add size but strength for sure as we have all seen at AFL level.

Jong fantastic in the last quarter.

                    My better players (Senior listed):

Webb, Jong, Hamling, Kelly, Honeychurch (although faded out). Hrovat in and out of the game. Both Cordy brothers played well, Tom Boyd 3 goals but really should have had more and dropped some easy marks. Smith also looks pretty good, Hamilton needs to get more of the ball.

It obvious with Honey now. He just isn't fit enough yet.

Ugly win. Boyd really good, conditions didn't suit and could have probably had 5 - 6 goals. Russell, Hamling, Zaine and 73 (forgot his name again) were all solid accross the back half. Best game I've seen Kelly play with us, Jong was good, Honey faded after huge start but was OK. Smith was good but seems to be trying to do to much. The basics he does very, very well. Lot to like about him.

I really used to think VFL umpiring was really good this season however very ordinary. Today they were terrible

Well done boys. Great to see Boyd dominate. When was the last time we had two brothers in playing together?

Dominate is a stretch. Dropped a few easy ones and needs to add aggression to his game.

I think we've gotten ahead of ourselves a bit with Boyd. I think he's exactly where we'd hope he'd been at this stage of his career and maybe the pricetag that was on him is starting to affect people's judgement of his performances.

That said I didn't watch the game

He's actually exceeded my expectations for this year. If we can get him back in to the seniors just to keep his development going it will benefit him and the club in the longer term.
