I was really annoyed when I saw that. Not really with the VFL or anyone in particular. More so with our luck. The last time it happened was when we played Collingwood at Vic Park. At least then we could swing to the pub at HT to catch WB beating Sydney. On this occasion, the games almost perfectly overlap.

Bummer!

I may record the AFL game and head down to the VFL as it isn't too far away (subject to weather). Agree with the poor timing though. The Hawks play at the G at 4.40, meaning they will also struggle for numbers.

Make sure you wear ear muffs Go Dogs so you don't hear anyone saying what the score is at the Gabba.

There should be a statewide ban on yelling out the footy score. I remember having to actually run away from a guy at the Footscray game at Vic Park because he was seemingly going out of his way to ruin the SCG game for me.

No Hrovat hurts.

Goes to show we need to continue to draft mids as we do lack some depth. Injuries to Libba, Smith, Stevens, Hrovat and McLean to an extent have made us light on.

Jong, Dale and Kelly need to have massive games.

Austin and Russell are big ins from last week.
