One of the premier pressuring forwards in the TAC Cup, Joshua Chatfield, is averaging over five tackles over his first four games. He also provides a reliable marking target and is a damaging ball user. He is a possible late or rookie pick.
Athletic defender Buku Khamis takes on the game with his run and possesses clean skills. Khamis is a late or rookie choice.
Among Greater Western Victoria's best players in two of his first three games, Lachlan Dawson is a possible late or rookie choice as a midfielder.

If we gracefully retire Morris & Picken (2), and possibly move on Campbell, Roberts/Collins & Honeychurch/Webb (5) and possibly lose Dahl or Roughy to free agency (6) - with the points issue we will have with acquiring Rhylee West, we will get two first round players but then have 4-5 late picks to cover the outgoing players. Hopefully these guys come along as real options to get better players on the list over and above whatever late picks we have.

I've gone to 3 games this weekend, 2 today, and I had a particular focus on Buku Khamis in the early game just for BT.
He played across half back and reads the play very well. Given some space his kicking is quite good and he knows how to take the game on and when to leave his man and create opportunities. He backs his judgment and typically makes the right decisions. There is some improvement to be gained to do with his work in close, it's not that it's bad but there is room for improvement. His marking today in testing conditions was good and he has more than enough athleticism.

You're a good man G. The reports over the past three years show an inexperienced kid making consistent gains. Do you share ESPNs view that he's a late draft prospect?

It all depends if there is more improvement with him and I think there is. He just need to keep improving.

Based on today, do you see him as a future '3rd tall defender' type or a taller rebounding flanker/intercept mark defender?

He's not tall enough for a 3rd defenders spot on a regular basis and he is a bit narrow across the shoulders to suggest he's going to add a lot to his frame.
He looks to me more likely as a rebounding defender and seems to have good attacking and defensive instincts

Sounds like the perfect type of project player. Tallish, quickish, good mark and as you say above. If we finally cut into our list, some academy players worth investing in would be a good outcome.

On Dawson, this was a write up from April on afldraftcentral:
#9 Lochie Dawson – Best-on-ground performance. So strong, that the Falcons couldn’t bring him to ground. Such calm player, who seems to make really good decisions. Absolutely “beasted” the Falcons in the first half, and made it look like he was a man playing amongst boys. Topped off an outstanding day, with a goal through earned though hard gut running. Disposal lets him down at times, however if he can clean this up, he will be a star of the future. Dawson really needed to stand up for his side this week in the absence of Tom Berry and he did that and more.
In his last TAC game against Calder, he racked up 29 disposals and 9 marks. He seems to know how to find the footy:
#9 Lochie Dawson
Dawson started in the centre and spent the majority of game in the midfield. Dawson has a solid build for a midfielder, and showed his ability to make great decisions throughout the game, with good disposals by both hand and foot. He showed a good understanding with teammate Scott Carlin, as they linked up by hand often to get the ball forward for scoring opportunities for the Rebels. Despite copping a heavy knock in the second quarter and starting the third quarter on the interchange, he recovered well to have a strong impact on the game.
Averaging give or take 25-30 disposals a game, 4 marks, 5 tackles and three of his 8 games in the best with one BOG.

Chatfield on limited exposure in the TAC is averaging about 11 disposals, 4 marks, 5 tackles and .75 goals a game.

Got a few decent looking kids for 2020; Ugle-Hagan looks like he's something special, Nicolas Stevens is another tall midfielder and Fergus McDonald is a massive unit at 196 and 82 kilos and apparently decently quick as well.
