It is but it highlights a lack of depth in our midfield
There are 16 WB listed players in the team, filling every position on the ground in the starting 18 except the centreline and with Dale & Honeychurch as the followers
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

Great goal to goal line. The kid Nash they have nominally in the centre is tough as nails accumulator.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Positions don't mean much these days

I get what you are saying but Webb, Hamilton, Honeychurch, Dunkley, Dale with Prudden and Williams do add a bit of midfield depth. As BAD said, the selected positions are somewhat irrelevant.
My guess is that Webb will start in the middle.

I doubt Dunkley plays across half back very much.

Not overly concerned with our apparent lack of a VFL midfield. All of the guys playing AFL are pups and will be around for years. Mids are also easier to top up with if need be.

Once Dickson goes up, Jong will likely come down and along with a fit Hrovat, Footscray is going to take some beating this year.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Hopefully we will also have Clay Smith to come back and strengthen midfield depth if his leg doesn't fall off.

Unfortunately, can't make it tomorrow so will be relying on good WOOF folk to provide minute by minute updates.

I'm going to try and make the second half.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?
