Also, don't know how anyone can listen to the footy on the radio. Hate not being able to see what's happening!

          Another to the Dogs.

One benefit of listening to the Essendon feed is how disappointed they are whenever we kick one. Haha.

Will Lynch be upgraded to the main list at the end of the year?

Too early to call with any conviction. I suggested in a list management thread a while back that we might need to cut into the senior list to accommodate Lynch but that could be a challenge.

Remind me again - can we keep him on the rookie list then upgrade him at the end of 2017 without any risk of another club snaring him?

My understanding is a player can be retained on the rookie list for 3 seasons but it has to be with the players permission.

Saw just over a half, will add some comments after the Dogs game, but there were some encouraging performances in tough (windy) conditions.

I think I counted about 6 or 7 listed players out there today so it was a good effort to get a win against a team equal on points.

Conditions weren't great with a very strong breeze blowing across the ground.

From what I saw my thoughts are ( I was chasing around a 2 yo so it was hard work) -

Will - battled pretty hard against a 'like' opponent, but wasn't all that effective.

Dunkley - very effective, won lots of the ball and skills were ok.. Took s couple of very strong marks and tackled with intent.

Hamilton - kicked a nice opportunist goal, but wasn't overly dominant.

Webb - copped a heavy corky which limited his effect.

HC - another strong performance.. A tireless worker.

Hamling - took some nice marks and used it well.. Was pretty good in a very different looking defence.

Hrovat - very classy performance and stepped back in seemlessly.

Lynch - struggled a little as a defender, but linked up well when we were attacking. Kicked a ripper goal in the 2nd qtr

Hamilton seems to be putting together a decent body of consistent work at VFL level now. Is he someone that could address our skill deficiencies and outside pace over time?
