    Dogs pass on Mick Romero

The father/son nominations are in from all clubs. The dogs haven't put in paperwork on Mick Romero. Hopefully he & Hose are good with it, as much as can be.

I think that's four famous father's sons in a row we've passed on: Josh Wallis, Jayden Foster, Darcy McPherson & Mick Romero.

Thought we may. Just not enough room on the list and with the new bidding system I guess they don't want to be tied in.

So of the ones we have passed on JW now plays at Footscray, JF has been delisted and DMc looked pretty good at GCS until his injury

Unfortunate news for the young man. I hope he gets picked up somewhere.

Tend to agree, I haven't seen him this year so I'm no authority on the kid, but last year when I did watch him up close he was very small, very thin and without a standout aspect. With Dal pulling in Daniel & Williams with his late picks in the last two drafts, if he doesn't want to use the last pick him I'm happy. We only have one live pick in the rookie draft (effectively), and I think it may need to be a ruck option. So circumstances just haven't aligned for him.

            Hope he plays at Footscray.

Question for anyone who knows: Can he nominate as FS next year if he doesn't get picked up?

Morris was picked up as a father and son at Richmond aged 22.

I thought that was in a trade with GWS.

I'm usually wrong, but it's going to annoy me so I will look it up.

Edit: GWS traded Morris and pick 15 for pick 14 from Richmond. So not a father/son selection.

That is something I learned today. I wonder if there have been any mature aged players as Father/Son?

IIRC someone asked that about Josh Wallis and the answer was yes
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

I think they are eligible for father son for two years. I have no idea why i think that though. It's probably wrong
I should leave it alone but you're not right

Maybe he went to GWS as a F/S? Wouldn't surprise me, they probably hadn't thought of Acadamies back then which are pretty much the same thing.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
