Who will Scott Clayton pick? Nearest the Pin!

Gold Coast have picks 4,6,8 & 10 as it stands going into next Friday's draft. I thought we could have a bit of fun and see who Scotty will go for with such a haul of top end picks.

For this purpose let's assume Bowes and Scheer will be academy selections and may use 1 or maybe 2 of these but let's pick 4 players outside of these and see how many we get right. So how well do you know Scott Clayton?

    my selections

Jack Scrimshaw - because he's tall and skinny

Tim English - because he's even taller and skinny

Jye Simpkin - because he's quick and skinny

Shai Bolton - because Scotty loves to use high picks on quick skinny outside midfielders especially if their from WA.

He already has Grant. Maybe Andrejs Everitt, despite his 'retirement' announcement.

      Kate Moss.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Good thread. I don't often follow the under 18's so don't know the players individually, so I'll nominate the type of player and can attach the name of a player that fits the description

Pick 4- A skinny flanker with questions over his commitment to football. He'll return home within 2 years.

Pick 6- A skinny key forward who's only recently started playing the sport seriously.

Pick 8- A skinny midfielder who's shown some flashes but is highly inconsistent.

Pick 10- A skinny and short key defender who's an utter dickhead.

None of them go on to be quality AFL players at Gold Coast

They are just the low draft picks he made with us with the names removed.

God I hope he picks like that it will mean some real quality falls to our pick. I've got this horrible feeling that he will nail this draft though. I don't know why. But they will be crapping on about the premiership team that Scott Clayton built on the Gold Coast.

Plus a skinny outside mid from WA in SPS.

But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Law of averages dictate eventually he has to get another one right.

Seriously a dart board or just copying a Bigfooty mock draft would've produced a better result than his past 15 years.
