Picked up this snippet for the preview to Round 15 this season - Eastern Ranges V Geelong Falcons

      PLAYER TO WATCH: Nathan Mullenger-McHugh

Mullenger-McHugh has impressed this season, particularly in recent weeks, being named in the best on three occasions from Easterns past four matches. Playing predominately as secondary ruckman/forward to Sam Hayes, Mullenger-McHugh has had 82 hit-outs during this time, including a massive 33 in Easterns narrow loss to the Bushrangers in Round 11. If the Ranges are to have any chance this weekend they will need the big-man to continue this solid form.
He was a late withdrawal for this round 15 encounter but followed up to be in the best players for round 16, being the second last home and away game.

Also interestingly Xavier Richards ha gone from Grand Final player to not picked up by anybody. surprising, especially when you consider he is tallish and his brother was a late bloomer indicating there may be more to come.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

So with the "rookie-ing" of Mullenger-McHugh and Prudden, does that mean we are now full? No spots available?

              Last chance galore ...

              Sam Shaw (Pick 13)
              Re-rookied by the Adelaide

Alex Silvagni (Pick 23) to Carlton
The former Fremantle defender played 53 games for the Dockers. At 192cm, he’s a handy third tall in defence.

              Shaun McKernan (Pick 19)
              Re-rookied by Essendon

Tendai Mzungu (Pick 15) to GWS
The former Fremantle midfielder follows Matt de Boer to the Giants. He played 102 games for the Dockers before being delisted last season.

Joel Patfull (Pick 32) by GWS
Re-rookied by the club, however he won’t play this season after announcing his retirement.

Jack Fitzpatrick (Pick 31) , Hawthorn
The big man has been re-rookied by the club.

Shaun Edwards (Pick 49) to Sydney
Had been sounded by the Swans during October’s exchange period, but was ultimately picked up as a rookie. An athletic, exciting wingman, Edwards will be hoping to make the most of his opportunity at the Swans after stints at the Giants and Bombers.

Drew Petrie (Pick 29) to WCE
The 316-game player was a North Melbourne legend, booting 428 goals across his illustrious career for the Kangaroos. He’ll be given one last year to go around at the Eagles.

Josh Prudden (Pick 35) , WB
              Re-rookied by the club

Would you hang up the boots if you were Drew Petrie or Alex Silvani?

We could always add a category B rookie, although that may be unlikely seeing as Melbourne drafted our nominated player Dion Johnstone (as well as taking Mitch Hannan from Footscray)

Is that it for him next season or can he be signed as a free agent? I'm assuming all clubs lists are full now right?

Cooked. Knocked back a two year deal citing home sickness. Well he gets to be close to home now and find a real job/study.

I can only imagine that there were concerns about his attitude for 17 clubs to knock him back.

Youd think so. Sydney probably weren't giving him a great reference either.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I just realised that we potentially ended the careers of 3 opposition players with defeat in the finals:
                                Richards in the grand final.
Mitch Brown in the elimination final.
Jack Grimes in the VFL grand final.
