Yep. After he found some form at CHB he went and played at CHF. I'm pretty sure that him and Laurie Nash are the only two players to have played both CHF and CHB for Victoria.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

VFL watchers, a couple months on from my last enquiry....how's Jayden Foster been travelling this year?
Where has he been playing predominantly and more importantly is he showing positive signs for the future?

Jayden has only played in 4 games this year (Rounds 1-3, and last week Round 10). His match stats from the VFL site (if I have interpreted them correctly) are below:

          Rd 1 11 possessions, 3 marks, 5 hit outs and scored 1.1
          Rd 2 8 possessions, 5 marks, 5 hit outs and scored 2.0
          Rd 3 9 possessions, 3 marks, 12 hit outs and scored 2.1
Rd 10 (this week) 13 possessions, 4 marks, 8 hit outs and scored 0.1

In my opinion he is a solid VFL player (in regards to what he has shown out on the field). He has a big body and has been a willing worker in the ruck when required. He usually gets amongst the goals which is not surprising since he has played mainly in the forward line.

I do not see him being elevated to the AFL list anytime soon.
There is no sadder sight than a young pessimist.

Jordan Russell to hang up boots.

Footscray Captain Jordan Russell announced his retirement to the playing group this week once the VFL Final series is over for Footscray.

Jordan joined Footscray in 2014 after being delisted by Collingwood and worked his way into becoming Captain and an Assistant Coach for Scray.

Jordan has currently played 75 games for Footscray while kicking 18 goals and being named In The Best 34 Times.

75 Games while avg 25 disposals, 12 marks and 4 tackles per game

Jordan Russell has done a magnificent job at Footscray.

I expect to see him in the coaching ranks somewhere and wish him well.

He knows how to read the backline and set up , the reason we won the two flags were because of him.
