Strange timing going head to head with the AFL team. Any chance they'll have a screen set up at Whitten Oval so you can watch both games?
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

You'd have to assume the lowest of low attendances. Agree Comrade - very strange timing.

The VFL and AFL need to time these matches better.

I was really looking forward to going to this game (because we should win by about 250 points) too, but I'm obviously not going to miss what could be the game of the year. Really strange timing.

I was at Barkers Cafe for the first win against Sydney. It was huge. I'll never forget the roar after the score review for Easton Wood's tap through goal.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

So basically there will be minimal coverage via Twitter. They need to get these games on different days to the senior side.

There's minimal coverage at the best of times on the Footscray VFL Twitter feed. Imagine it will be non existent this week.

We need to have a camera set up and provide a live feed. Surely it's not too hard to pay a Uni student $100 to follow a ball around.

It's sad I can watch the NEAFL live on youtube but not the VFL.

I also just saw an ad for the SANFL mobile app. Every game live on your mobile device.

And we can't even get a decent highlights package.

We used to get far better twitter coverage when the games weren't on the same day.
I get to a lot of games so the impact to me isn't that great but I'd say for the majority of WOOF members it must be frustrating not to be able to keep up to date especially in this digital age
