It seems if you don't get in a good preseason, it's almost impossible to catch up on fitness throughout the season. I wonder if Libba is putting in extra training sessions or if he's half taken a gap year from the intensity that his craft involves.
Goal Kickers: Z. Cordy 2, L. Webb, T. Campbell, J. Redpath, P. Lipinski, A. Greenwood, W. Hayes, F. Greene, B. Williams
Best Players: L. Nash, T. Campbell, B. Williams, Z. Cordy, L. Webb, J. Russell
Looking at the bests and looking ahead, we need Cordy (Adams injured out) Webb (whomever) & Williams (Moyd) getting as many AFL games under their belt to keep improving.

How will Williams and Webb help out with our clear lack of leg speed? I like them both but we are looking as stodgy as an English summer at the moment - line breakers are a very scarce resource in our senior team ATM.

Hopefully Lynch can get back to optimum fitness and get some games. But I'm not sure we have that many with elite leg speed.

I think clean hands and foot skills create space which makes a lack of leg speed less of an issue. Problem is that we can't rely on Williams or Webb consistently getting near it enough to make their foot skills count.
