That's only 8 goals by my count BAD. I think whoever has put that up has possibly forgotten about Tweedie.

        Yep, Tweedie

        C. Smith 2, L. Webb, T. Tweedie, T. English, T. Campbell, P. Lipinski, J. Redpath, N. Mullenger-McHugh

While not a goal kicker last night Lewis Young was in good form. A lot of the youngsters are performing well.

Lewis Young named as our best . Promising signs, as well as Kieran Collins .

Young has been impressive each time I've seen him live.

I think this is his now longest run of games since being recruited. Hence why he needs some time to keep developing and be cut some slack. The carrot of a senior spot is in fron of him too now, so I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do with some fitness, continuity and possible senior spot to motivate him.

Commentators gave Collins huge wraps for his work last night. Said he played well on the smalls at first then the talls once Roberts was injured.

Sounds unlikely but that's what they said

Listened to a bit of the radio broadcast partway through 3rd qtr and most of last. Sounded like Lipinski did a few nice clearances and showed a bit of speed. Would not be surprised if he plays an afl game before end of the year. The speed and height of our 2016 recruits excites me. Great young and Collins played well too. And Williams and Webb.

lynch does not seem to have improved as much as we hope possibly due to injury, early days though for all of them bar unlucky prudden and Hamilton who likely has big question marks regarding 2018.

Why would it be unlikely ? Sounds like he's beginning to mature . I think some positions will open up after today's insipid showing

I meant it not as an insult to Collins. Rather with all I've seen and heard of him the idea he'd be doing a job keeping the smaller players quiet seemed quite unlikely but pleasantly surprising.

Webb, Campbell and M Boyd you would think be pushing to come in. Clay Smith maybe?

We thought we were clever picking him up as he was hidden due to injuries, and Scott Wynd gave us a tip that he goes alright. We should have thought about why he was hidden
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

It's a real shame, there's no doubt that he can play the game.

He's got talent. Just not a durable body. Just the way it is sometimes, at least he wasn't pick 4 (Tim Walsh) or pick 6 (Tom Williams). Footy isn't a fair beast from many perspectives. Not least if which the pain he'll spend the rest of his life in, to some degree, and bugger all games to show for it. Poor bloke.
