I've really enjoyed the footy so far in the carnival and today has been excellent. Despite the rumors of a shallow draft I think this is a pretty good one.

If we were to have 2 first round picks it would provide us with plenty of options.

We could possibly select 2 key defenders in Clavarino and Balta
If we wanted outside players perhaps Dow, L.Fogarty, Ling or OBrien fit the bill
If we wanted bigger versatile types then Constable or Allen might appeal. I really rate these 2. Balta as a key defender.
Of course there are players like Higgins, Petruccelle or Coffield plus ruckman like Crossley and Hayes.

I rate this years players especially if we have 2 first round picks

Plenty of talent in the top 30. Like you've mentioned, if we can get ourselves a couple of top 20 (or even top 30) picks we'll be able to select a couple of quality players. It's very much looking like that may happen naturally too.

Will have to start making an effort to get out to the TAC games as the year rounds out.

Sometimes seeing the last half few games of the season and the finals is where you will see the players stepping up. There is plenty of good footy still to be played.

There was a Vic metro player on AFL 360 with Oscar Allen a few weeks ago does anyone recall who it was? They were showing clips he looked impressive indeed.
