    And at 100% efficiency.

Aside from the win, Toyd's showing was the most pleasing. He showed for us supporters (and no doubt more importantly for himself) that there is still a lot to look forward to for 2018 and beyond.

He looked pumped to be out there and looked overjoyed with the win.

He took the on ground post match interview with Lauren Arnell for the 7 broadcast and spoke very well, seemed pretty up beat for Tom.

btw His namesake Moyd was very impressive. As an unabashed fan, I feel he still has something to offer many Clubs.

Tom played a very good game. It was great to see. Just one thing though how do they measure 100% efficiency when he kicked into the man in the last quarter. Got me puzzled.

So pleased for Tom Boyd, I've been watching the replay this evening and saw his end of game interview.

          Maybe he meant it

In all seriousness I think I heard the 100% efficiency quote just before the kick you refer to (but let's not spoil a good story).

            Recorded yourself or available somewhere?

Channel 7 still doesn't even seem to have last weeks game up (strangely) and FTA doesn't work on my foxtel for whatever reason so I'm yet to see this

Tom Campbell was sitting in the Grandstand for part of the match with about 7 other Bulldogs players and some others were in other parts of the grandstand.

Great win today. Like others said its always nice to beat Essendon.

We were evenly matched. I think that less than .5 of a percent seperated us and them on the ladder and all three of our games were decided by less than a goal. They won both home and away games but we won the one that really counted.

Not silly enough to think it was only me, but would still rather not contribute to anyone being pinched..
And we missed on Ben Long too.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Great kick, very happy that he's out there and contributing.

Still have major concerns over his hands though. The mark that led to this goal was a perfect example: he had great position on a smaller opponent, flat palmed the incoming ball and barely held onto the mark for the required time before it squirted out of his hands.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Great to see Tom Boyd enjoying his football again after such an interrupted year. Matthew Boyd is a class act and led the defence superbly. Very impressed with Gowers game again. Built in the mould of Crameri and you wonder if he isn't a rookie chance. Similarly Will Hayes whose last quarter goal to clinch the win was a beauty. Hayes continues to be a model of consistency. A big wrap for Vermont boy Alec Greenwood who has managed to play in Footscray's last two premierships and continues to hang in there with dogged determination. Considering the gusty windy conditions at Port, this was a win worthy of merit.

I was wondering the same myself - any chance he was told he was no longer required at his exit interview and didn't want to front up to this game as a result. If his exit interview did go south, I would imagine he'd be pretty upset....

Possible, but Hamilton is still out there.

Perhaps he doesn't fell like he needs to show anything in the vfl finals to prospective clubs wanting to pick him up.

To be honest, I thought Hamilton played as tho it was his potential last game in the RWB.
