I'll go with Luke Davies-Uniacke. He's a big strong midfielder and someone that will transition quickly into senior football.
He can win his own football and use it well and on top of that he is a good mark when he is up forward. It's LDU for me
Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"
Best player in the draft for me. Great size, good pace, can play up forward and kick a bag. Snags them on the run, snaps them, lead & mark etc. Can play midfield as a playmaker or run and carry. Excellent kick. Has a lot of tricks. Plays superbly in big games. A real match winner. What more could you want? Wish he was coming to the Kennel.
He's not without his flaws (every prospect in this draft has them) but he's the one I see having the highest ceiling so want to pick the bloke who has the strongest chance of being the best player in 3+ years time.
It's busy up top this year. There's a lot of reasons to think Brisbane should pick Rayner, but the team picking with the draft pick is irrelevant in this process we are working through. That said, I'd pick Rayner with Pick 1 also.
Rayner.

Do you think there's cause for concern at all with Rayner? Because Brisbane need him coming in and then going like a hole in the head. I don't think they have any cause for concern.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
A reminder, this one finishes tonight. With the Pick 2 thread starting tomorrow. So get in tonight, or miss out on Pick 1.

Shifter Sheahan agrees with me & also thinks the medical issue is not an issue. We'd be nuts to pass him over

Agree, he seems like the exact type of players we need. Add in a Murphy or Higgins and we've had a good night with a smoky at 79.

I still don't see how we end up in the frame to select him, but agree 100%. If he's there we simply must. Hopefully we spent the last few days pouring over footage from the end of the season - he runs fast, he jumps high, he's agile, he accumulates and he kicks goals. Sounds like the kind of player every club should want.
