Results: WOOF Draft Recruiting Team - AFL Draft 2017

So the results are in. We averaged about 12-13 votes per pick, so there's no group think with a range of differing perspectives and arguments for different players. For the specifics, it seems the lower the percentage, the lower the confidence of the consensus is. This may indicate the view that the player may drop. While high percentages indicate the player may rise in the order.

It actually looks pretty close (not identical) to Twomey's, if you take Stephenson out as Twomey did and everyone shuffles up. Thanks to everyone who contributed, and we will see how we've gone as a group tomorrow night.

Pick 1 - LDU (Obtained 50% of WDRT vote of the poll of 5 options)
Pick 2 - Rayner (Obtained 64% of WDRT vote of the poll of 5 options)
Pick 3 - Dow (Obtained 71% of WDRT vote on the poll of 5 options)
Pick 4 - Stephenson (Obtained 82% of WDRT vote on the poll of 5 options)
Pick 5 - Brayshaw (Obtained 50% of WDRT vote on the poll of 5 options)
Pick 6 - D. Fogarty (Obtained 58% of WDRT vote on the poll of 5 options)
Pick 7 - Cerra (Obtained 66% of WDRT vote on the poll of 5 options)
Pick 8 - Clark (Obtained 31% of WDRT vote on the poll of 5 options)
Pick 9 - Coffield (Obtained 75% of WDRT vote on the poll of 6 options)
Pick 10 - Bonar (Obtained 46% of WDRT vote on the poll of 6 options)
Pick 11 - Naughton (Obtained 70% of WDRT vote on the poll of 6 options)
Pick 12 - Higgins (Obtained 50% of WDRT vote on the poll of 6 options)
Pick 13 - Brander (Obtained 89% of WDRT vote on the poll of 6 options)
Pick 14 - Murphy (Obtained 54% of WDRT vote on the poll of 6 options)
Pick 15 - Richards (Obtained 77% of WDRT vote on the poll of 6 options)
Pick 16 - L. Fogarty (Obtained 83% of WDRT vote on the poll of 6 options)

If we take Twomey that Stephenson drops down to 16/17. Our results, shuffled up, would have us taking Bonar at 9 & Stephenson at 16.

Bonar and Stephenson would be miles away from what all the speculation has suggested from the media etc.

Personally, I love it (both the idea of ending up with these two selections and so everyone pretty much got it wrong). I think it is possible we would take a punt on one, but I am not sure we are ballsy enough to take a punt on both of these (with the knee/heart question marks).

      Pick 4 - Stephenson (6)
      Pick 5 - Brayshaw (2)
      Pick 6 - D. Fogarty (12)
      Pick 7 - Cerra (5)
      Pick 8 - Clark (7)
      Pick 9 - Coffield (8)
      Pick 10 - Bonar (11)
      Pick 11 - Naughton (9)
      Pick 12 - Higgins (17)

      Pick 14 - Murphy (39)
      Pick 15 - Richards (16)
      Pick 16 - L. Fogarty (22)

D Fogarty, Higgins, Murphy & L Fogarty we had 5+ places too high

      O'Brien (10), Ling (14) and Bailey (15) didn't make our list
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.
