Ft Dogs 17.11 Burgers 4.8.....and some context with today’s win as Burgers lost by over 100 points in Rd 1. Webb amongst the best as you would expect at this level.

I played today and it started hailing just on 3 quarter time. Of course I was at the furthest possible point from shelter. Got absolutely stung, could barely make it across the ground!
Thanks for the reporting guys.
Finally Boyd gets on the end of a few. Soft opposition with Coburgs form right now but great signs for Tommy in difficult conditions.
They've done studies you know, 60% of the time, it works every time!
Brian Fantana.
Thoughts on AFL listed players from this afternoon's game taking into account the (1) weather in first half and (2) quality of the opposition
Young - clearly best defender on ground. Really controlled the defensive arc for the Dogs taking a number of rebounding marks and in the first half in particular, playing a disciplined back men's game punching the ball away from opponents or out of bounds at every opportunity.
Schache - conditions didn't suit. Played mainly fwd or as a ruck rover around the ground. Not a lot of touches.
Campbell - looked OK, but really no ruck opposition after the first qtr. Still drops marks he should take. Will be better for run given his limited playing time recently.
Boyd - would've got a lot of confidence out of his effort this week. Easily the biggest man on the ground. Noticed the opposition trying to get into him a couple of times, but suggest he had the last laugh. Played ruck for minimal minutes, otherwise played forward, or more impressively on the ball as a ruck rover.
Roberts - serviceable as usual at this level, but Young overshadowed him.
Webb - the conditions seemed to suit him. A little less in and under and a bit more outside than usual this week (specific to his usual VFL role). In the best three on the ground.
Roughy - also not ideally suited to the conditions he faced today, but got to play a full match as a ruckman/resting fwd from time to time.
Lipper - only played half a game and while the weather was at its worst. Wouldn't have done his AFL call up opportunities any harm for the time he was on the ground. Kicked a couple of goals
Porter - another solid game on top of his practice match form from a couple of weeks ago. Will watch his progress this year in VFL with interest.
Greene - conditions didn't suit, didn't really get going this week.
Lynch - was having one of his better games this year I thought before doing hammy - didn't look good.
Smith - played wing, so up and down the ground all day. Servicable.
NMM - pretty much a standard NMM performance - a long way still to go to make AFL. Does work in well with Young and Roberts across the backline however.
