Every time I saw him Friday he was running forward and kicking long.

I don't want to pot the kid but I really don't see it with Croft. Admittedly I haven't watched a lot of him but nothing I've seen has made me thought he'll make the grade in time.

I'm baffled we're still playing him forward.

I don't think he's a key forward like what we're doing with him. Maybe we're trying to round his game out more? I could see him being a good forward or defender but not the KPP

I watched the first half to get a feel for Walker. I doubt he contributes this year, but he looks a good prospect. He looks to have more height than I would’ve imagined.

Selection will be interesting. Poulter Gardner and Garcia all very good. I think the MC will have to take a look at how Poulter compliments Darcy and Naughton at some point.

Duryea looked better. Footskills were much improved. Jaques and Dolan were both good.

I’ll be shocked if Jaques isn’t a serious long term footballer at the next level. The only thing I see holding him back would be potentially his size.

I feel like key forward is such a shithouse spot to learn the game. Largely dependant on service from up the ground, always outnumbered, low possession count and minimal contests to make a positive impact on is no good for building confidence.

I think I am limited in imagination by just how much he reminds me of Blakey but I think we should put him down back and get him some confidence with ball in hand and actually impacting games.
I should leave it alone but you're not right
