    Round 21 - Footscray Bulldogs v Carlton • Sunday 17 August 2025 • 12:05 PM

    Whitten Oval 12.05pm

Putting this up early so everyone is aware when we are playing the last round for the VFL. Whitten Oval then off to Marvel for a late Sunday game.

Footscray are equal top missing on percentage. Carlton are sitting 13th so you would think Footscray can win that. Hawks have to go to Casey to play the 8th placed team, fighting for a top 6 finish, so won't be easy for them. Footscray could end up on top.

    Go Dogs!!

Thanks BAD. Our VFL team is doing well and is a big chance of winning it.

Planning on heading to Whitten Oval for this one before the AFL game at Marvel.

Hoping Treloar shows form and durability for his first ever VFL game (if chosen of course).
VFL playing before the ones always tricky. Wonder who the lucky/unlucky player will be for the emergency v the Eagles.
Really enjoying watching all the developing talent.

Well Treloar got through the session today and looked sharp.
I would suggest he has to play.

How did you come to that conclusion, we'll finish either 1st or 2nd thus home final, possibly two.

Let me see if I can re-write this as it seems Ledge hasn't made it clear.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Henry Hayes goes as our 23rd man. I've heard some positive things.

Well done Dom. Keep it up. Hope he is given another chance at afl level. Some players take a bit longer to blossom.

Gardner Wowwee, remember when we played this guy this year? Absolute miracle he’s forged a career out of this long on a list, if he ever plays AFL again I’m not going lol

That could be the funniest turnover I’ve ever seen

Gardner makes it hard to love him. First two kicks and two turnovers

Apparently Kobe Williams out there for the dogs today - Hawks F/S but our NGA prospect for this year. Hopefully a good sign that he might choose the doggies?

Not sure what number he is yet but keen to watch him

Love Sellwoods physicality, I think we’ve missed a trick not trying to get him up to speed in the AFL team late this year to be honest. Our defence is crying out for that
