Ryan Gardner: 2026 - delist - agree - would ned a big big year
James Harmes: 2026 - 1 yr - depends on form and fitness. Needs to get on the park and perform this year
Ryley Sanders: 2026 - sign for 3 more - agree, though may be trade bait for Butters
Jordan Croft: 2026 - sign for 3 more - Agree
Harvey Gallagher: 2026 - needs to prove himself - another who needs a big year. Will be his fourth and he has spent 2 out of 3 injured
            Rhylee West: 2026 - 3 more - Agree....could we squeeze for a 4 year deal?
            Jedd Busslinger: 2026 - 2 more - Agree
            Joel Freijah: 2026 - 5 years - agree.....more if possible
Buku Khamis: 2026 - needs to prove himself - trade/delist unless he establishes himself
Lachie McNeil: 2026 - needs to prove himself - I think he is in trouble if other guys develop.
Lachlan Bramble: 2026 - sign for 2 more - agree
Lachie Jaques: 2026 -needs to prove himself - agree, but am expecting him to step up next year. Heir to JJ/Dale
Luke Kennedy: 2026 - needs to prove himself - but hasn't shown much - agree, should get another 1 year deal
Lachlan Smith: 2026 -2 more - back up ruck, but only going to play if others go down. 1 year deal
Zac Walker: 2026 - needs to prove himself - need to see how he goes with a full pre-season.
Tom Liberatore: 2026 - Retire - maybe, but can see him going round for 1 more year.
Arthur Jones: 2026 -needs to prove himself - will compete with Lachie McNeil and Van der Mere
Michael Sellwood: 2026 - needs to prove himself - like Walker needs a full pre-season
Adam Treloar: 2026 -depends on Body and performance - Agree
Oskar Baker: 2026 -2 more, but needs to perform-AGree
Nick Coffield: 2026 - delist - like Gardner, needs to show something and cement his spot

Kennedy had a 30 & 3 game in the 2s this year which is pretty impressive, he’s got some ability I’m just not sure where he best fits at the top level.

Id be trying him down back as a back pocket type, I think that’s his best shot at making the grade with his lack of size & athleticism in the modern game.

The knock on his is around pace and athleticism. Perhaps a pre-season that focuses on that might assist him.
As a midfielder he just doesn't possess the burst pace like a Neale so he's got some things to work on.

Been an excellent player for Norwood including a flag in the sanfl.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

It’s a really difficult exercise to do at the moment. The good news is we have lots of flexibility and also, lots of players with an impetus to have a career year.

7 changes does feel slightly higher than I would expect, particularly given there may be a trade request from a player too (no insight, just likely).

The other challenge is if we are able to get Butters via a trade, we’re likely to have less picks at the pointy end of the draft and therefore, adding 5-7 players in a 40+ range may not appeal either.

As far as Kennedy goes i can't get the thought of Lindsay Gilbee out of my mind .
Gilbee started out as that high half forward and then tried progressing into the midfield with out much success , untill he was moved to half back where he blossomed , i can see the same thing happening with young Kennedy , Gilbee's kicking was a delight and this kid possess the same skill in fact i'd say he kicks better then Gillbee with his left foot , but i can see in the future as this kid gains experiance and confidence , he moves to a back flank and uses his kicking skills to become a very reliable defender who like Gilbee runs forward to take handpasses and kick goals from the 50 meter arc. Right or wrong i can't shake this feeling that Kennedy will become a very nice footballer in the future .
The kid won a senior B&F as a 15 or 16 year old , so he has ability there is no doubt about that .

Mate rewatch Hamilton's draft video and tell me how he was even drafted!
                        TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Gilbee was more athletic than Kennedy is and he was a far better kick.
We do need to find a spot for Kennedy and maybe the back line is a good spot for him.

I love good kicks. Under-rated how much they can slice through defences and open up the play.

I saw him in the club's gym by himself a couple of weeks back when I did a tour of the Whitten Oval so that's a wee indication of his desire to improve.

Was that on a Wednesday? They've had some well attended tours on Wednesdays over the last few weeks.
