A West turnover gives them a goal. Got a lot more work to do young West before he gets a promotion in my opinion

I think you're correct about West and I see him more as a chance for promotion in the 2nd half of the season but you never know

Ht Dogs 5.6 Werribee 6.3. West got a lot of the ball that qtr in a real in and under role, but when he is free, his disposal by foot is poor - wind doesn’t help, but just banging it fwd doesn’t work either. Werribee threatened to run away with game 10 mins in but Dogs played well after that time.
Lipper gets my votes to halftime with Roberts solid as ever across the back line. Lynch playing deep fwd and not getting in the play at all - maybe 3 touches so far. Sweet impressive - happy to throw weight around. Would be very slow however at Afl level.

Smads, you're correct, Sweet is a long way off a decent AFL level and his mobility needs to be improved
