Did Roarke play as a pure mid, forward or combo? 4 goals must be career best.

Thanks Smads. Did he play forward in the practice games?

Have seen 3 VFL practice matches and today's game this season and clearly this was Roarke's best game. He seems to be a confidence player and he just got better and more assured as the game progressed.

As you know players get thrown around a bit in practice matches, but I am going to say yes to your query - he has been more wing/fwd than defence this year.

Some end of game thoughts...Lipper was again outstanding as was Hayes. I thought it was one of Porter's better games for the club and it was great to see Webb out there although I thought he faded out a bit in the second half. West had a good game but I thought he was better last week.
Lachlan Young and Ruben William were outstanding across half back along with Prudden. The swirling wind didn't favour Roberts.
Sweet shared the ruck with Gardner and they were a good combination getting amongst the goals. (Hypothetical - would Gardner be a KPP option for the mid season draft?)
Lynch, Dale and Greene were all active without being dominant although I liked the run of Dale all game.
I've mentioned separately it was probably one of Roarke's best VFL games and he took some strong contested marks and kicked goals (couple were gimmes).
I think Williams needed that run in the VFL - his best was very good, but he did turn the ball over more than acceptable.
