I absolutely think that Schache was told to work on his workrate and efforts off the ball so I'm happy that he got 7 tackles and 15 touches since he's a neat field kick generally. Just depends on if he was actually throwing his weight behind those tackles
I listened to the radio commentary (which made my ears bleed) but there were some Footscray moments in between the Casey cheerleading that got them excited and a few involved Rhylee West's tackling. I like the idea of him playing forward and given the task to just harass and lock the ball in at all costs. He can also move a bit higher up the ground and rotate with the likes of Wallis, Dunkley and Smith, which is something Dickson is struggling with.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Yeah one point he just slung Wagner iirc to the ground just by grabbing his jumper as he ran past. They said that he is far stronger than you'd think an 18yo his size would be.
Also based on last week, he's not afraid of poleaxing people in tackles.

Yep, just what our forward line needs. I can see West following Dahl's career path - start as that harassing pressure forward then transition into the small, scrappy mid.

I'll volunteer my opinion and say he is not all that quick. I'd say Dahlhaus was quicker and Cavarra is quicker from our current small VFL forwards (when he is on the park!)
There is no sadder sight than a young pessimist.
