Good lead up play by Gowers and Lynch and Gleeson gets us going in the second qtr with a goal

Couple of bad decisions this qtr by Williams with the second one leading to Frankston’s 4th goal. Dogs 5.2 to 4.5. I don’t think Cavarra has touched the ball all game! 16 mins gone

Lynch goals after a 50m penalty. Dogs 6.3 to 4.5. Gowers pretty ordinary game. Defenders keeping us in the game at present.

Would have to nominate Sweet as one of our best. Midfield missing West with Porter and Wally the only true inside mids. Having Gowers playing midfield just penalises the team. Bailey Williams getting it a bit, but also having an ordinary game. Defenders doing a lot of good work as we had a fairly non existent midfield that qtr exerting little pressure. Hayes quieter than normal, Jong working hard and Webb in and out of the play to date. Vandermeer had a few good touches that qtr - continues to impress.
