Wow that’s quite a list. First priority is to lock away the Bont long term.

But there is some good talent there. Sheed, Billings, Kelly, Fantasia, Elliot and obviously Cripps and Kelly would be nice. Realistically though I’m not sure if we will ever become big spenders. Moneyball recruits like Keath and Bruce are our go while we focus on locking away our own young talent. Billings, Elliot or Fantasia might fit that bill and fill our small forward need

Billings would cost a lot. Fantasia hasn't impressed me over the last couple of seasons, but he had some fantastic patches before that - I think he has had injury and confidence issues, so maybe a change in environment would be enough for him.

Elliott would make me nervous with his injury history.

I'd take Breust for a couple of years.

Do we need another 30 year old forward?

I didn't realise he was 30, but I would still be interested. He's kicked over 30 goals and played over 20 games every season of his career. He still moves well, and would be an improvement on our current small forwards (no disrespect to them, I just like Breust).

Josh Kelly is the other obvious one, but I agree he will cost too much for us as a pre-agent (GWS trade demands). If we can hold until he is a free agent then it's more possible, depending on the changes to salary caps/list sizes.

Nope. Keep the clan together and take our three NGA/FS kids at the draft.

Holy hell...there are some corner-stone players in that list.

If any of those can be pried loose there will be significant ramifications...who is *most* gettable???
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

If Melbourne keep under performing, is Gawn gettable?

No I wouldn't have thought so. Griffen aside, not many captains leave their clubs

Kelly. The others are "heart and soul" types that are part of the fabric of the club. Kelly is a great player in a team of great players that doesn't have a "heart and soul".

Failing that we should look at Bontempelli. I've heard good things.

                      Kelly is the interesting one.

His contract has a clause that triggers a long term extension of possibly up to 8 years on big coin.

Post Covid 19 if there are new salary cap arrangements in place I'm not sure what would happen to this contract. If Kelly is entitled to trigger it on the stipulated big coin then that could really mess up GWS' salary cap if it is to be reduced as is being speculated. The Giants may, reluctantly, be inclined to let him go. Will be interesting.

                        Bontempelli.

MJP - would Sheed ever be the type to move over to Victoria?

I've always had a massive belief that Billings would do really well for us, and I'd still love to have him.
                        TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Peter Gordon is quoted as saying players will have to accept 20% reduction of their wage post covid 19. Interesting times.
