I think it's safe to say we won't be picking up yet another very good midfielder, leaving us with the following (Zorko and Laird are both mids, but could play a different role at half back or forward respectively for us).

Breust would clearly be the best option there, fills a need and is young enough to get 3+ years from.

Vlastuin is a very good player but would spell the end of Wood, who we just signed on a 2 year contract.

Clubs best players basically never move, it's usually the number 3-5 guy (this is what I am telling myself with Bont), so Gawn won't move.

Robbie Gray is basically unfeasible but may still be a very good addition to a forwardline at 33 years old.

Breust has some interest, although he'll be 31 before the 2020 season starts so a 2 year deal might be risky and I doubt he leaves for one year.

I expect we now focus on retention and depending on how the season pans out, a KPD to trade in.
