Butler's kicking is a real worry.

Lacks penetration in difficult conditions.

Kicks it like a pillow. That decision to kick into the middle was really bad after all our players had pushed forward.

Bailey Van Der Heuvel, Ballarat guy and former cricketer. He's been used more as a forward for us and had a purple patch in the match with Frankston where he took 4 constested mark in three minutes. Certainly worth a look if he's there late in the draft and we have the picks/list spots.

Good summary, he was prominent in that Frankston game. I like 4 of our Footscray boys as a potential late pick or two in the draft.

Conditions aren't great for a young tall and he's been burnt a few times but this is no where near good enough or meeting expectations.

They should pout him on a wing for a bit or even back to give him a chance to get into the game. While the conditions clearly don't suit him he does need to lift his work rate. Talent alone won't get you the ball in cold and tricky conditions.

He's a step or two behind at every contest and is misreading the ball completely. He was clearly gassed from chasing tail by the end of the half and spent the last 5 minutes off. He's miles away.
