HT Ess 4.6 Dogs 4.3. Ess had slight wind advantage that qtr. Agree that Sweet looking ordinary to half time.

He's been pretty good at centre bounce contests in the 3rd, pretty influential. But offers not much else.
Doesn't get the footy, not a lot of presence at other contests.

That quarter went for 36 and a half minutes, and we took advantage of it. Some important late goals and very good tackling that quarter.

Marra seems lost. How about he plays on the wing for a few games to get a few touches. Not working as a key forward so far.

West, Buku, Cleary (beautiful play under pressure to give to Buku for a goal) and earlier Sullivan were standouts in that quarter. Sweet & Marra better in second half of 3rd quarter too. Raak too a nice mark or two too.

Agree. It must be confidence as he is trying, marks just not sticking etc.
