Bit of that is to do with how poor most of team were. 3 or 4 turnovers by foot but I thought he did ok and played out whole game and ran his guts out and out head over ball, more than can be said for others.

He seems to 'over run' the ball far too often. Its almost like he is an excitable kid (which he probably is...) and goes 100% but to no avail.

Has anyone else noticed this trait?

He just ends up running around a lot, but not applying any pressure on his opponent/the opposition in general.
Cooney was like that in his first year before he learnt to take the ball with him.

It's a hard one, he made a lot of errors which was probably expected but he's probably too good for Footscray.
He probably needs another week but I'd expect him to be called up.

He's not very efficient with his running patterns and wastes a lot of his energy.
This year was always going to be a development one for him.

The quicker we get him in the quicker he will get to his best. There's different rules for players of his quality, and if he is working hard enough then he is in and we can at least know he's not going to be worse than a few others we already have in the team.

                It's Lachie Hunter. He's a gun.

Was about to write that Bedendo really does seem to have come on well this year. Hope he gets a shot soon-ish (this isn't an invitation for injuries)

Not sure what everyone is expecting, but the stats indicate a pretty good game for Darcy, however those stats are misleading.

While he got plenty of ball, it was mostly being used in a switch being the receiver for uncontested marks. He does use it well generally, but I want to see him win it in a contest, or at least spoil an opponent.

He seemed to get beaten every time he was left one out. He also needs to seriously work on his speed as he is easily left behind by every opponent.

While I think he will come good, he would be a seriously liability in the ones at this point.

I couldn’t watch the game, can someone confirm reports that the Bruce is loose?

Seemed to move ok and kicked it well.

Clearly a bit rusty and will need a couple of additional games you would think.

He is another one who with his skills will excell at the top level. He is too good for the 2's.

He is all class is Lachie. No more 2's for him. If we can afford to play McComb we can fit Hunter in.
