For someone who has pace, Vandermeer finds it hard to get space and gets tackled a lot.

I think the problem is that he doesn't accelerate very quickly.

I agree with others recent sentiments that it might be time to try him in the backline. He just needs a different look at the game and he was originally drafted in that role.

Not a natural footballer, very hard to play forward when you have blinkers on.
